To help understand some of the different ways you can operate the wireless cameras, we have put together a couple of illustrations to help.

PC Base
The first way is to use the PC Base System to control all your cameras (most popular). This allows you to control up to 30 cameras from a computer using the PC Base Modem.
You completely control your cameras using your computer.
This means you can changes all the camera settings, check battery status, signal strength, add cameras, delete cameras, etc. all from your computer.
You can even have the pictures automatically emailed to anyone as well as use the live cam feature (internet connection required to use the email and livecam features).
 Note that you can use any wireless camera as a repeater to extend your range further!
You can also set one of the wireless cameras up as a what we call a "Base Camera Mode"
The camera set up as a base camera basically works the same as the PC Base does just doesn't require a computer or a PC Base.
This gives you the ability to set up a wireless system basically anywhere you want with no restrictions.
The camera set up as a base can still take it's own pictures/videos while receiving pictures/videos from up to 30 other cameras in the field.
Just as with the PC Base, the camera base can test signal, battery strength, change settings, etc. to every camera it is controlling.
Stand Alone Mode
Every wireless camera can be set in what we call "Stand Alone Mode". In this mode you just set up the cameras to store everything on a SD card at the camera.
